Bro 7 hours for “maintenance” is absurd. EA acting like they’re rebuilding the entire internet when really it’s just flipping the switch on some loot boxes. Minimum compensation when I log back in should be
2500 San Van bucks (none of that 100 coins scam nonsense) and Coach Frank unlocked immediately, no grind, no “season pass” trap.

Like if I can’t skate for almost a whole work shift, I expect hazard pay. EA should just put me on payroll at this point for the time I spend staring at their “servers are down” screen.

this isn't required anymore. hasn't been for a while. this is how we know you don't look stuff up to check the validity of your claims.
plus HD2 was first party to PlayStation, it wasn't until later in the game they implemented the wall to log in that prevented certain regions from playing that, due to backlash, was walked back extensively. making the claim that they'll require a different account when the topic was about the pass implementation is apples to potatoes.

I got a ping and had to scroll up. I missed out on the corn, darn. Leave it in the husk and put it in a wood fired oven to roast it. If you're put off by bugs, peel the husk back first to check for caterpillars.

This works great when pumping actually decides to work! It’s been known to just stop working. I’ve had several hours long sessions where I just couldn’t skate vert because pumping wouldn’t register at all.

So 60hrs in everything about this game feels shoddy and a far cry away from the original trilogy, missions are so boring, theres issues with speed you either have zero speed for the obstacle or it gets nerfed anytime you enter transition or you fly at a million miles an hour overshooting everything straight to a flat landing the vert feels so static and boring, it is pretty apparent they never really consulted actual skaters about the development of this game prime example being the half pipe at hedgemont the scaling is completely off with about double the amount of flat on a half pipe of that size,

Obstacle scaling and placement are so sloppy makes making nice flowey lines pretty much impossible cant do smooth transfers for example over a spine like in skate 1/2/3 unless you have the exact right speed which is almost impossible and saps the fun right out of it.

The lack of skate culture is disappointing no pros no actual skateboard attire or boards (gimmie a baker logo deck for the love of god)

Im rather in different to the loot box system as that is the natural progression of gaming over the last 10 or years its the nature of the fortnite generation.

All in all EA really missed the mark with this and is a massive let down for all original black box produced skate games and as of now is not worthy to carry the torch of a series that was so loved and well made as the original trilogy.

Lets hope they make it better in future updates for now im going back to session and skate 2
