But in this instance, it was announced pretty much at the very beginning. It's being built completely from the ground up and they are sharing the journey of building it with us to make sure they get it right.

How often do we see a game released, and it's the opposite of what we want? Or even worse! It's broken. From there people get frustrated and angry. Then we have to wait to see if things or fixed and/or implemented.
Hype is killed. Player base shrinks. We lose trust.

Skate. is a huge deal to get right. I've enjoyed the early journey and the care and patience of the dev team working with what we know, love, and want.

I know it's frustrating to wait, but from where I'm sitting, it's really the best way they could have handled this.
