Who knows how bad it will be. Even with pre-approval of adulthood, for some, new people will have to submit, many others as well. Its a privacy and security issue many people are concerned about because Discord literally had a data breach 4 months ago where alot of this type if data was stolen; when they're not supposed to be saving that data (according to them) but apparently they do.
Anyway, big ol breach of trust between some people and discord. A good number of folks in my communities are kinda freaking out about it.
It remains we will have to see how it turns out, but im already preparing to jump shit and move to something else. I hear Stoat is an option but I have to look into it.
All I know is that I will not be giving them my face scan, passport or ID if they ask and that could leave me locked out of my own communities.

The sad reality is that most if not all platforms are going to go in the same way.
Discord is doing this to conform with laws that are quickly being passed. Within the UK, and Australlia acts have been passed to ensure the safety of young individuals online.
I believe this is coming to America as well. Given this, I expect that other countries are going to follow in a swift succession.
Eventually it'll be by law, they're preparing for the future.
