This thing as it is is a voldemort timebomb

The translation is basically:

when a deatheater associated with a player wielding this spell dies (excluding dessert master DEs) a mask will be left at their location
each mask increases the damage taken by the player by 5%

when the spell is used a ddark mark will appear for 5 seconds that will resurect new death eaters at the masks location, the deatheater will again die when the mark disappears, restoring 25% of the players remaining health

after dark mark ends the damage of any dark cards in the players hand will be increased by 10% (if the cost of the spell is reduced its increased by the difference between the original and current cost)

Also the resurrected deatheaters also behave as new deatheaters, so retriggering behaviours like avada

||I'd say that the Rowan didn't kill anyone by his hands. But he understands that he's the reason whole family broke apart and blames it all on himself. Which for him basically eqates to killing everyone.
The small lie - is him covering the fact that his mom kinda killed his dad and then offed herself. ( Partly guilt, partly giving son a chance to survive and partly because Rowan never lies and will testify against her ).
And the gun in the Rowan room after the story - for me it is a hint that the guy might end his life after all of that was brought back by Wenshi. Plus he kinda never fully forgot stuff after obliviate spell. ||

The most important lesson to take away from this story is: Take your car in for maintenance and check the weather forecast

Well, this shit is pretty complicated, I wouldn't call him selfish per-se
||Dumping the kid - itself is a very awful stuff, but well I still can get why that happened ( Like in IRL cases ). Cuz the guy was breaking his neck for his family and well, the situation kinda only got worse and judging by text, people around him were more focused on bickering with him, then kinda consoling him.
Leaving gramps - Well, this one, sadly, was kinda necessary. The food supply was running short and they HAD to move as fast as they could.
Grandma - well, the situation with her kinda f'd up. She solely held up a lot of food being delulu thus making everyone to starve. Could it be solved differently - yes, but not in their case.
So he's clearly done shitty stuff, but this was all built up upon years of stress, unending work, arguing and other stuff. ||

||Plus it's not like the mother also haven't blamed Rowan for all of it||

The whole situation is just one big and very sad group of events noone could predict and ever wanted

My problem with it is ||it clearly shows this wasnt a situational issue, rowan describes him as a volatile personality. Yes the situation put him in tough positions but this seems very much an attitude problem coz everyone in the family seemed to try to make the best of things except for him...the mother does also end up blaming rowan but for so much of the beginning you see her begging for his care and prioritising him, her eventual decline very much seems to be because of the father taking a lot out on her and the toll of caring for rowans condition as well...I just think if he was a tad less shitty and a bit more supportive the family survives coz that trip becomes unnecessary|| but then again we wouldnt have a story....sadly yes this mirrors a lot of real life situations
