Idk how to explain the math but there’s a small loophole between birthday start and daily reset, it depends on your server

I just use CA as my way of farming those points for the chests, when doing the Birthday week. Even tho you only get 10 points, you cn easily access the chests to open them and it doesn't stop going, as long as you either got daily attempts or chests that aren't ready to open.

Here’s another tip for making the birthday less vexing: activate 3-5 chests, then do a fast level of CA in auto mode (I recommend either the first two levels or one of those scuffles that you can do in auto mode with a newt spam deck). Even if that level was already completed, as long as you keep winning, the game will restart the fight as many times as it can, provided some chest still needs filling. That way you need to look at the screen much less than by doing into the woods, and you can open several chests at a time.

Stuff like episkey, thunderstorm, erumpent, blast ended skrewt, crucio and possibly even fiendfyre (though sometimes with fiendfyre you’re unlucky and the win streak gets interrupted there, so this one is not ideal for birthday spam).
