It seems like the Dragon season was intended as a sequel to the Desert season, but with the Global launch mixing up the timeline, it got confusing fast when it looks like she showed up before she supposed to

I think we (TWCN players) just called the fantastic beasts from the desert mode “pets” but they aren’t really considered pets. We were rescuing them from the desert and taking care of them until they were ready to be released back into the wild (like Newt). They were separate from the actual pets we got from the homework pass.

We discussed this before in the last season spoilers thread.

Pets are equipped like owls and can follow you around the map and forest and sit on the side when you duel. They were available through the magic pass.

The fantastic beasts we rescued using suitcases(like a pokemon ball) through completing the exploration/desert mode were kept in our suitcase space, where they lived. You could equip one of these beasts to take with you and follow you around during the exploration mode because they had special buffs.

With the desert mode, we also received a suitcase space, like the personal space. That was where all the fantastic beasts we rescued were kept.

I remember back in 2023 or 2024, when we were able to access the Desert through a glitch in the portrait 😂 The desert has always been in the gamefiles, they've just been locked
