And 를 for the object?

#

Or wait

#

Is cat the subject in the sentence?

yes cat is a subject here, linguistic object is a bit tricky at the start but yes cat is not object of the sentence here

#

the simplest way i try to explain it is 을/를 object particle marks the noun that is being affected or having something done to it by the subject/topic, so you can 먹어 a food but you cant 있어 a cat, 있어 is just decribing it as existing, you have a cat, but you arent like.. its a bit difficullt yeah
