#Space or no space?

When you use 예요 or 이에요 do you need to add a space between that and the word you're saying/referring to?

Example: Would it be
"저는 학생이에요"
Or
"저는 학생 이에요"

No space! Technically 이다 (the unconjugated version) is a particle therefore are always attached to the end!
