For nice to meet you, you could say "만나서 반가워요 or 반갑습니다" (correct me if i'm wrong)
I'm not sure what you meant to say in "나는 한국어를 해요" What i'm understanding is I do korean so if you could elaborate on what you meant that'd be great
Ah, yes of course! I mean to say, "i speak Korean". Google isn't the most reliable and I don't plan on trusting it.
'나는 한국어를 말해요' will have the literal translation of 'I speak Korean'
But... '나는 한국어를 해요' is what Koreans usually will say. I saw a post on this and it said that:-
In English, you can “speak a language.” In Korean, you “know how to do (speak) a language.”
I hope you understood.
I do yes! I actually saw both sentences on a youtube video so it makes sense ^^
나는 한국어를 말해요 literally means "I speak korean". If you would like to say "Nice to meet you" in korean:
- Formally, we would say 만나서 반가워요
- Informally, we would say 반기습니다
Hope this helps ❤️
조금 헷갈리신 것 같아요...
