honestly just wing it
if you’ve been on it for a month just keep going
it’s something that just takes a lot of input before it clicks
이/가 means this is the subject of the sentence, it’s actually the default particle for subjects
은/는 is a special particle that has many uses. Highlighting what it is you’re actually talking about, or showing contrast.
But if that gets too confusing just remember a few handy rules
Noun은/는 + object을/를 + Verb
Pretty common form to be used like this, would recommend using 은/는 whenever you’re using 을/를
Noun이/가 + adjective
This is another pretty common form
noun이/가 + 되다/아니다/있다/없다
these are some verbs that always use 이/가
Use 은/는 when comparing yourself to others or talking about your preferences that may be different to others. Use 은/는 when talking about a specific happening not a generality.
I know you responded to this a while ago, but would you say that 이/가 is more of the default use rather than 은/는 because it’s used to talk about something specific/emphasizing/comparing something?
Yes 이/가 is the default 주격 조사 which means it designates the role of the subject
GG @stoic hare, you just reached level 24! Congrats!
That’s all it does
