RIP
Last ones were withdrawn on the Friday that’s just gone.
long gone I’m sure
oh yeah hat too
YGM
but some of them drivers are allergic to the kickdown switch i swear😭😭😭😭
oh my days
like they’ll go fast but not use kickdown
probably moves faster than some single decks up that
all day
Db300 Just better
Ragebait?
ggs
Only valid e400 is mercedes
but its a trident!!
Shitbox x2

i honestly dk who let bjk into this server
@fair charm can i get my border control role back
Me
B9TL> DB300
e116 withdrawn
db300 uses the same flipping cummins as the e400
it's on the list of 100 other things to do
thanks
Yet sounds better
only because like 99% of db300s are voith
compare a voith e400
yeah its literally the gearbox making half the noise
literally the same
Yeah
it doesnt help the db300s have barely any soundproofing so its 2x louder
it gets to a point
it’s also not a super car
the squeal of a voith gets annoying quickly
You cut costs
one thing i like about db300s tho is that theres always some coolant leak somewhere so they smell nice
💀💀💀💀💀
1 drove past me yesterday at southgate and i felt like i was inside the bus garage it smelt that strong
bet it was se167
TE1744 forever clear
Them buses cant climb a small hill
Very lucky they got rid of 1749 aswell that would’ve put these tridents to shame
to shame??? theyre not supercars bro😭🥀
Metroline tridents that got revived from the dead may still outlive these south tridents
I am convinced
Yh to shame you heard me
whats my boy kirk doin there 😭 🙏
trying not to laugh
he read the bulletin
I need this on Route 134
I don't know
A trident is never doing 134 if that 626 VW crosslink couldn’t even do the route smh
Send morgan and his crew
Pb aint letting bro
idk how che managed to sneak into MG he wouldnt even fit through the barrier if it was open
that still surprises me
Really because i can see them still living
all it takes is two evs to change that but HT are being real patient
Yes I saw TE1744 on the W8 towards Picketts Lock, Lee Valley Leisure Complex yesterday
Do you know where i saw TE1744 yesterday
They are getting them byd things
Pretty sure they have a few
I did not
dear god
word
naaa NP drivers are the definition of that
No way
Oo ok
I might need to get those
Time running out man😥
Just a heads up, E117 is still in River Road, could possibly be seen out on the roads again as it’s still got its blinds 🤞🏽
WORD
These man are scared the bus will takeoff
Your tridents are dead
gearbox problems
Yhyh I heard about it
Let’s all laugh at this guy
You aint got no idea how kickdown works then
how does it work
Lets say the bus is in gear 5 but the rpm is above 3 or 4
It wont kickdown
Even if u push the throttle
Under 3 it will cause you wont get any speed from that
Ye
well im obviously not expecting it to kickdown that high lol
im talking about when its low
ah rye
Alr cheers
its fckn shit
Have u driven an e400 before
Or touched the pedals
look it up
the switch tech got dumped in the 90s
its all electronic
its cause in the 90s they used wired connection and that shit would snap
i dont need to if the regulation was enforced
this was all done by eu
the whole reason ETC came in was emissions
I think i'll trust the driver who has driven them telling me they do exist
😭😭
My car has one
Excellent enforcement
i will record it in my car and send u a video
maybe that will put ur theories to rest
the click is audible
lol
They have a switch
Oh
If you press down on the acceleator to the bottom it will click
Same goes with e200 darrs
Darts
And before you say anything i actually drive them
sensor not a switch
even exists on cars believe it or not!
Electronic signal: The accelerator pedal has a sensor that measures its position and sends an electrical signal to the car's computer.
thats the pedal hitting the sensor
theres no physical switch on the pedal
the sensor is a reason why companies can disable kickdown
u do realise everyone in this thread is watching u spread ur bull😭
the switch is physical
u hear the click
therefore the switch exists
what happens after that is separate
ill trust a mechanic
and his bus does
i’ll trust the driver
and the mechanic
but i wont trust u
how do u active kickdown if the pedal is electronic
😭
i wanna know
buddy
the click is there
the pedal is connected to ecu
but the click is there
^
nobody is denying its not connected to the ecu pull yo head out ur ass😭
my foot reaches max accel before the click, i have to put extra force for the switch to actually be intact
when the accelerator pedal is pressed all the way to the floor triggering a sensor that signals the automatic transmission to select a lower gear for maximum acceleration
bjk rest dawg😭🙏
just read what i said again tbh
read what i just sent
ur screenshot explains what kickdown is
listen bro u can trust google gemini and a bunch of forums but
without laying a foot on a pedal
i am not gonna trust ur word
there u go
but a switch isnt there we arent in 1990
its all sensors
2000s it got changed to sensor
because eu basically said we need data of emissions
u cant get that data from a switch
so sensors got added to record data
which is why the past 25 years we have had no switches in pedals
like i said earlier
pull yo head out yo ass and come to realisation that we arent denying theres no ecu controlled kickdown
we are saying kickdown switches do exist
and there are clear examples
stop shoving ur audi features in our faces and accept that it does exist brotha
well its not a audi thing when its used by every brand
Mitsubishi has a kickdown switch
lockdown i was watching hella videos on cars and shit
thats a switch
and this is a sensor
clearly a switch bro😭😭
ok fair enough but my point is there not all pedals got switches
…
mitsubishi is like the only one ik
No way u guys are still going on about this
i just spent an hour telling you that they exist and that it’s not ‘just vehicles from the 1990s’
very few brands
its a good discussion
compared to 100s more that have the sensor
u just got done promising me that my car has a sensor and not a switch
You are not a reliable source
Full stop
True but its a Longgg one
Lots of confusion about what the kick down switch on many generations of BMWs is for.
I took a look at my footage frame by frame and my rough math works out to a 1.5 times increase to acceleration. I think it peaked around 5 km/second.
In my opinion this feature makes "manual" mode not suck. The one main thing you can't do in "manual" mode o...
epic
my car is from 10 years ago too a click is heard
the start of this convo was u tryna prove that car brands moved on from switches
again very few cars have switches compared to sensors
my task was to prove that they do exist still
not what u said here
stop shifting ur point to make it reasonable
everyone here knows that there are variants with sensors only
but you started saying at the start that it was sensors only
and u were very confident that neither tridents or my car had a switch
also mitsubishi dont have ETC
thats why u have a switch
cause u have a hybrid system
its got a semi electric pedal
innovative pedal
thats what u have
whatever u say beyond here is only doing u harm bro😭
not really
cause your car has a difference system to a pure ice engine
so ofc ur car has features a diesel doesnt
one being the switch
well that wasn’t the origin of the convo but u do u
like i said i was only here to prove what u said at the start was wrong
i did that
yeah ok i understand
this is why u need to stop talking @burnt pollen
my fault for not knowing eris has a different pedal system to eu cars
Thanks
always bjk
