Yeah basically it was preserved back in 2023 and then it was recently for sale so we bought it it’s now under new ownership

The thing is, during that 2023 event, RT604 went mechanical (the bus that usually does the east grinstead feeder from croydon) and 8474 was drafted in as a replacement
Was quite unexpected when that turned up because I never knew 8474 was preserved with its initial owners at first

hopefully it doesnt get waterlogged
but I feel like there shouldve been more shuttles between maidstone and detlng showground itself
so if they still arrive late and dont want an X3, a shuttle service would run between maidstone bus station (or maidstone east?) to the showground and would be free
