Route 241 will be extended from Stratford City Bus Station to Here East via Montfichet Road, Pool Street, Carpenters Road, Sweetwater Place, Bassett Lane, Marshgate Lane and Waterden Road to terminate on Lesney Avenue. This will provide a link to and from the new development, East Bank, which is located on Carpenters Road.
At Stratford City Bus Station route 241 will serve different stops.
Towards Here East route 241 will now serve bus stop X opposite the bus station.
Towards Royal Wharf route 241 will now serve bus stop S, instead of bus stop W, which is located on the main road outside the bus station.
The frequency of route 241 will be increased during the daytime on Sundays to a bus every 12 minutes. Route 241 will continue to be every 10 minutes during the AM & PM peak on Monday to Fridays and the daytime on Saturdays, every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Fridays and every 15 minutes during the evenings on all days of the week.
