maybe london operators might do that to existing B5LHs and E40Hs/SHs
i hope not for smart hybrids
they’ve tried it so much and it can never last like 2/3 years
I’m sure there was another company who tried it with plaxton presidents and G1s
with emission filters in them as well
didn’t last long
😂 😂 always ends up withdrawn after a certain time
yep 💀💀
that’s the nameee
They done it on some 123 VLAs & some 292 VLPs &, they werent seen after a few months iirc
Even that TC PDL 😭
vantage power but that was hybrids
and tbf they buses they did it to were already dead as fuck 😭
an electric conversion actually seems feasible, especially to the MMCs and G3s/Evosetis
grim
this is probably why
a hybrid system is more reliable than an electric one anyway
and if hybrids aren't surviving then electrics have a lot more where that's coming from
64 reg TUK mmcs are already becoming shit 😭
I have high hopes for them
I expect them to last the longest compared to anything out there rn
euro 5 ones run well on diesel mode themselves
most of them still r able to use the motor well
only really the RR whvs which are fucked
AL did something to their WHVs for them to be working well again
