What do you guys use Gleam for?

we are using Gleam to index blockchain logs to be able to serve data to user quickly: like show your portfolio, detect spam tokens, detect if user has visa card to be able to quickly import one within the app etc it is quite big amount of data to fetch and process so we value BEAM multithreading and Gleam type safety

Wow, that’s nice! Out of curiosity, did you consider using Redraw instead of React? 🙂

It makes perfect sense! FYI, If you can afford the cost to switch/want to switch to fullstack Gleam, I can recommend using Lustre (we’re using it in production currently). If (as I assumed in the first place) you’re using React to leverage the Web3 React ecosystem, Redraw could be used to progressively convert the stack in Gleam. No matter the choice, I think using Gleam + React in JS is already a nice choice, and you can use some Gleam parts with TS, and it works really well! (That’s what we do at Steerlab, we have a polyglot codebase, and we have TS side-by-side with Gleam, and Gleam code running on Node/Bun & Erlang!)
