When I win a battle ever since I passed 8k trophies I now get a gold shield with a +10 mins what does the signify ?

That's shield. Go to its settings. Set up a time. During the time shield is activated you losses will only reduce 12 trophies. The attacker cN at best hit you up for 45 trophies.

1. Go to your island defense
2. Top right is the shield button. Click.
3. Again.. Click on settings.

Choose a starting time for it.

eg. If your reset is 10 AM and you do all your battles and accumulate those many minutes of activated time.. Start that early. Select that time on counter. For 2 hours of activated time you can select 8AM.

Now when a person attacks during 8AM - 10AM, you will only be charged 12 arena trophies during that time.

The shield feature is now available for you. You can activate it in the City Hall (see the screenshot below).
While you are using the shield, you will not lose more than 12 trophies per battle on defense.
