To avoid any possible misunderstandings: when I agree to collaborate with a client and we both agree that it's a paid service, then I proceed to work on the actual project - investing my time and energy on this project, if I feel disrespected by the client, or the client makes me feel uncomfortable at any point during this process, I have a full right to put a stop on the collaboration. I also maintain my right to get paid for the work that I HAVE done. This is not the full price I would actually charge if the project was complete, but I still deserve my time and work to be appreciated and to get paid for the finished work.
