Can a court case take a whole day? If it has gotten the enough press from the people and reputed bodies?
Per DOJ: Average elapsed time from date of arrest to date of felony conviction was about 6 months (182 days). Jury cases took the longest time (over 9 months).
Would CPS proceedings apply? I did reach out in another thread in this server for help, but I have not heard back.
CPS investigations are usually between 30-45 days.
Once the investigation is complete the issue is either dismissed or the actual legal proceedings begin. Once court orders get involved the process begins extending.
Can you tell me more via DMs?
Sure
If a woman accussed a men and she faked the level of emotional trauma she suffered at his hand, what is the crime she can be charged with?
Okay so it depends on the country, but if this matter was taken to court and she lied about the trauma, she could be charged with perjury.
However:
The act of perjury is only considered a crime under certain specific circumstances, the details of which vary by jurisdiction. The courts view perjury as a serious offense, as lying and misrepresenting facts given in testimony effectively usurps the power of the court system
I guess she could also be charged with defamation of character.
But what if there's a proof the misdeed only highly exaggerated by the girl; saying she was traumatised by his deeds even though she doesn't
I'm not sure then.
Cool. What's the charges for drug hoarding?
Possession of drugs
How does the charges work? I read how some people can get three charges of drug posession. What's the penalty?
It's hard to say because it depends on your country (and sometimes the state you're in) as well as the drugs (because some drugs like weed is legal is certain places and illegal is others)
How do restraining orders work?
