Hey all! I've reached the end of an evolution line for only one of my DMs.

Can I reset it without killing the other?

You can wait until the first one dies. Afterwards you can raise an new one from its ashes.

The second digimon will be unaffected by it

Safest way to 'kill' them without hurting the other is just not feed and tack up the care mistakes right?

Not feeding works or making it sick or injured and leaving it in this state

Oh right! But if if the poop fills the screen, doesnt it affect both?
