Getting First Digivices In A Long Time, Wanted Some Input | Digitama Hatchery | Page 1

I haven't had any digivices since the original US D-3 as a kid, but I owned several other V-Pets. After 2 decades away, I feel very behind. I've been watching videos and reading some resources to get a broad idea of everything, while trying to avoid actually spoiling mechanics and such before my digivices come in. With that said, here's my situation on the digivices I've ordered.

I've purchased the Color Godzilla, Pendulum Color Saiyuwarriors and Tohobraves, and the D-3 Paildramon Color. My understanding is the D-3 will be like my original D-3(which I still have) but will have bigger screen, full color, sounds, music, etc... so just a complete upgrade. But I'm kind of lost when it comes to the regular Color and the Pendulum.

I understand the Color Godzilla is a crossover, and thus different from the regular. Does that mean it would be worth it to get the 25th Anniversary Color, the regular Color, and/or any other Colors? The Color Xross Wars in particular since the pre-orders are due by Monday and I couldn't find any other Xross?

The Pendulum Color 6/7 are what sold me on buying digivices in the first place as, seeing the difference between 20 years ago and now just blew me away, but the Pendulums seem to have A LOT of variety between them, especially compared to the regular Color series. Would it be worth going after other versions?

Is DM X worth going after still? Especially if I can't get the v3? I saw it was rated 1st out the 7 versions but that was a year and a half ago and a lot seems to have come out since then?

Finally the Vital Bracelet BE. This one looks very interesting as I think it would be a good way to motivate me to get more exercise, but I also noticed it came out 3 years ago and read it's suspected to get a new version "soon". I'm uncertain how often new digivices are announced and am uncertain if "soon" means a month or a year. Is it worth getting ASAP(especially the DIM cards) or should I hold out since I've got other, non-exercise digivices to explore?

DMX is still good, including the first two versions

The regular Digital Monster Color is a bit limited / not all that interesting

The Xros Wars one could be worth getting if you're interested

The regular Pendulum Color is nice ~~but will be expensive now~~ oh yeah we had the rerelease so it's not too bad

DMX is the best if you're interested in getting a D-Com and playing w0rld 😉

Thank you for the info! And if I get v2, do you think it's worth getting v1 as well or is just one version good enough?

DMX1 can still be had cheaply so get them while you can IMO

D-Com and w0rld? I'm guessing it's an way to transfer my digimon onto an online server to play with others?

sorry, D-COM was all I meant. I've managed to find basically everything else at or near retail price
