Recently, a display malfunction like the one in the photograph has been a topic of discussion among Digimon fans in Japan.
Display has likely developed vinegar syndrome. Does anyone know where I might obtain a replacement display?

Japan was incredibly hot and humid this summer, so there were so many factors contributing to this happening...
But it seems the manufacturer will replace it if they have stock, but if they don't, they can't do anything at all. So I thought we'd just have to repair it ourselves and started looking for parts.

You could try replacing the polarizer film
Do some research first on which polarizer is compatible with these screen and how to carefully remove them too
