Help - DmX v2 (Lucemon) showing Dead Battery symbol when it's with a new one.

Hi guys! How you doing?
I hope any of you can help me with a really annoying problem.

I'm having a weird issue with my DmXD (Lucemon, purple, Japanese).
At random times, it shows the "dead battery" icon even though I'm using brand new batteries. I’ve already tried different brands and even added more pressure on the battery contact with folded paper and the v-pet's lid, but nothing worked.

Sometimes it works for 2 full days without the icon showing up, but sometimes it happens after just 2 minutes.

Also, I don’t have much experience with electronics. The most I've done was building an A-Com following a tutorial, so if possible, please explain any fixes as if you were explaining to a beginner.

It's my favorite device, so I’d be really glad if anyone could help me figure this out.

What brands specifically have you tried

Hi! Honored to get an answer from you. So, the one that lasted the most was the one that came with it (I even think that it drained til the last drop). I tried an unknown one, Philips, Duracell and Elgin.

OK so at least half of those should be good. What method are you using to keep the connection tight?

I just plug the battery and that's it. I tried to make some more pressure with a folded paper but it didn't make any difference

So it sounds like a true voltage draw issue then. I don't have any good advice there, but someone else may be able to chime in
