Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm brand new to owning a vital bracelet/digimon stuff in general, and I'm unsure what this symbol means after I used that hourglass thing in the app... Is it dead?

Is it the Da icon? If so, that's supposed to be his attribute, he's a Data digimon.

I don't think Digimon can die in the VB app
VB Digimon in general are quite hardy

The app is like a storage system so pretty sure digimon don't age in there

iirc the only ways a VB digimon can die is if you don't wear your watch for more than 24 hours while they're in the active slot, or if they get too many injuries which is extremely rare to happen

You could kill them in the old app doing pvp or boss fights. But the app no longer has those, so I think the only way to kill them there is by pressing delete
