So I went to add one to my etsy basket and realised the shipping is an arm and a leg to me for just that (US). I was curious if I may have an STL to be able to print myself one, as I have a 3D printer with a .2mm nozzle?

Today it's programming day!

progress is going fine!

I can now display the 4 slots in the menu

we will have a "change" and a "freeze" option

freeze will put the mon in a frozen state. It's easier to implement because it only involves adding a new boolean and some game states

change will let you select 1 of 4 slots and change swap for the mon in that slot

if no mon was saved, a new egg will appear on screen for you to select

this one is more complicated as it requires integration with a lot of systems to prevent cheats and to save all data

So Relaxing doesn't always restore conditions. I lost one heart and haven't been able to fill it back up, and I've tried twice.

The UI only shows 6 hearts but you can lose more than that. Relaxing restores 1 care mistake each time but if you have more than 6 care mistakes then the hearts won't refill until you restore back down to less than 6.

another question is it a guarantee on a stat increase when level up? I was just at 4 3 3 did one super training to 5 3 3 just leveled up and still 5 3 3 is there a hidden stat.

The same thing happened on my last play but only on guilmon after a moment it seemed like a stats were increasing every level up.

There are hidden parameters, yes

Namely, attack skill and defense skill

Those will increase when you level up as well as by other means

Like doing super training

They are akin to digimon power in other devices

so power (atk skill) determines if the attack actually hits. what would defense skill do if your base defense in stats page is how much damge you can null. and does having full training hearts affect your stats attack defense wise?

Attack and defense determine how much dmg is dealt

By comparing them too

Some mons have more defense skill but low attack skill

These typically evade more but have a hard time hitting too

Some have the opposite

TPU is easier than it seems. Everyone prints it way too hot. If you have a direct drive just print it at 210-220 and it'll come out sweet.

Also make sure you dry it thouroughly even if it's brand new

yeah TPU can handle drying up to 70c easy. But i just dry it alongside PLA and it works great.

another easy way to dry filament is put it in a cardboard box (filament box) then sit it on your heated bed at like 50c 😉

So happy to have it protected from the horrors of my work environment too. (Lots and lots of dirt and dust) I was so worried about it at first

For SU our hints are Super training and good diet. Super training is tied to 24hr cycle so there is technically an age requirement?

I think that’s part of what makes this device so awesome is that we can change and update it as need be. You’d be hard pressed to find a device that has it all and with something like the DMK you can really only get better with each update. :))

That happened to me with one computer I had in the past. Some usb ports just flat out turned my pc off instantly I don’t know why

I tried charging the DMKs at home before shipping them and they all worked so I can say pretty confidently it’s a problem of your port (maybe static buildup?)

In the case of the DMKs when you flip the switch to off it breaks the connection with the raspberry pi

The battery charge IC could be leaking current but I don’t think it’s noticeable

Guys I confirmed that the "bug" preventing the evo to SU is in fact not a bug...

I made it really really difficult to get there

so I'm reducing the difficulty in next patch a little bit

Btw don't worry too much about trying to beat the areas to make sure you can evolve on time. Also dw if you have limited time to raise. You can freeze the device by leaving it on time set! The device is a journey I promise the battles through the large areas only make that journey more fulfilling, immersive and exciting. I got really attached to my mons taking them through the areas! The different backdrops for each of the areas are really atmospheric and beautiful too, I look forward to you discovering them!

The freeze and change update will only make that easier! Don't have enough time to go through the areas on one mon for evolution, but don't want to pause altogether? Just switch to another mon and raise them, come back to your other mon when you have the time to battle with them

Also the beating areas to unlock evo stages is only a thing on your first run. Once you've fought through them all you don't have to worry too much about battling through all of them again on your other mons unless you want to.

You can alr freeze by going to time set and leaving it on there. When on the main menu (where your mon idles) press the B button (the middle button) and then when the clock comes up press A and C at the same time (top and bottom button). Time should be frozen. Just leave it on that screen and your mon will be frozen

The save is stored in the FeRAM chip. There are no ways currently to extract the save files

Just gotta substitute the DMK official software with that temporarily and then install the memory dumper
