It really, really was. And this was just my V-Pets. I had plans for a Digivice version as well, as my collection for pre-2017 V-Pets and Digivices was effectively complete. Then I purged, lol

I moved into a different hobby altogether. I realized I never actually played with them, and that collecting itself was the main hobby. So once I was done I had no where to go, lol.

D&D, surprisingly. I came to it late, but I've a massive collection of terrain, miniatures, maps. I get to be creative, have tactile play, and be social. It's been a lot more rewarding than collecting devices that I never actually powered on.
