I use Photoshop for these, but I'd usually recommend aseprite for anyone trying to get into pixel art. It's the best tool for the job imo

It's worth noting that although the DMC sheet is long, it repeats the same frames for a lot of animations.

The PenC uses 12 unique frames, but the DMC for some reason has space for 15 frames and only uses like 4-8 and repeats them a bunch lol

If I remember correctly, train 1 and attack 1 reuses either the idle 2 or the refuse sprite depending on the Digimon

Sleep 1 and 2 are the same on certain digimon, so are sick 1 and sick 2 (though if you wanna make it fit well for pendulum color too it's worth doing those separately)

Also eat 1 (closed mouth sprite) often reuses the idle 2 frame on the DMC, but again on the penC it's another separate animation frame

I had a little look at the files for the demo and it looks like they're using the same file wrapper as cyber sleuth, hopefully the modding tools can be easily converted

They are idle 1 and 2, attack and sick/loss

I mean in general for the vpets, different versions like dm20 and DMC uses different frames .. just wanted to know the Animation sequecenes and what animations exists Overall, the DmC format seems to be the sprite sheet with the most unique frames

Some of the frames on DMC are repeated, like, attack 1 and 2 tend to be the same as train 1 and 2

And so on

Sometimes, eat frames are the same as angry frames or attack frames (I think this is the case for palmon)
