I'm trying to decide between a 20th ver or an X one for my first one.
Like if I want agumon do I need a 20th ver one?
Also does the X one has more digimon than the 20th one?

I read it but the evolution chart confuses me, let me try to simplify the question, so if I get a yellow 20th one I only get these digimon?
as if I get a blue x one these are the available ones?

I read it but it was confusing putting it together with the evo chart, I think i get it now, I was miss understanding how the exclusives worked, I thought it was like pokemon where a version of the game contains all the pokemon + its own exclusives.

Yeah the DM20th exclusives are like Pokémon in a way. But to unlock them you need to connect to 5 different versions of DM20th. Other than that they all have the same eggs

It's because the 20th is an anniversary edition with all the eggs of the original versions. Usually the devices are like X with one egg per device

yeah, I thought the X one worked like the 20th but with the X digis, I wanted the X cus understand it has "better" gameplay, but I got FOMO and ordered one of each haha

I ended up ordering both 
. there are some many different devices it was kinda nauseating to read about it all, I wanted the ones that looked like the ones from the anime, but found out they are basically pedometers, and then I wanted to get X3 but I couldn't find it, so I guess its not released? so I got an X2 but then I got confused with XC and XD being opposite, so I got the special color one that's guaranteed. and then a 20th tai one cus I like agumon, I also wanted one with guilmon, but aparently he only appears in the pendulum ones, and those are too expensive.

Same here pal! I just bought mine this very year. They don't sell it here so had to import, but good thing there is ways to buy it
