"Love" - A small word of 4 letters which is easy to read but it takes so many years to understand the actual meaning of love..

It took me 3YR+ to understand the meaning of love by reading many stuffs.. Even now, I haven’t fully grasped it, but I’ll do my best to explain what I have understood so far!

The true meaning of love is 'sacrifice'.. If you are willing to let go of everything.. your ego, anger, addictions, expectations, fears, and anything else that holds you back or comes between you and your love.. then you are ready to embark on the journey of love..

If any of the above-mentioned things exist in your love life.. then understand this.. you’re not truly in love. That’s something else, something that might look like love but isn’t the real thing.. And that is "attraction"

Love is the purest thing in this world and will remain so until the very end... When love disappears, it will mark the end of the world. Many people criticize love, calling it the worst thing, but that's because they confuse attraction with love... True love is far beyond attraction..

People created this wrong image of love in their mind bcz the person they are in love (actually a attraction) with doesn’t feel the same for them... and tbh the partner will never truly feel it coz attraction cannot be felt.. it’s only true love that can be genuinely experienced

People often refer to the person they are attracted to as their 'crush' & claim they love them... But when asked why, the reason is usually 'coz of their looks.' Love doesn’t work that way.. It can begin with attraction, but love is much deeper than just looks. It’s about their behavior, their soul, their ability to resolve fights with purity, their commitment to staying together no matter the situation, their loyalty, trust, and the care they show for their partner. That’s what makes it love.. not just appearances...

Just being unable to lose someone, being willing to do anything for them, or feeling jealous when they’re with someone else doesn’t make it love.. it’s only attraction. A person who truly loves doesn’t say, 'I can’t lose her.' Instead, they say, 'I’ll never lose her because she’s already mine, and one day she’ll realize it too

Let me explain the difference between love and attraction with an example: A mother has a 5-year-old child who wants to go outside and play, but the mother refuses, thinking the negativity outside will influence him and turn him into a bad person. This is attraction, though it may not seem like it. People might argue, 'She’s thinking for the child’s good, so how is this attraction?' Here’s how:

If the mother was in love, she wouldn’t try to control the child’s freedom. Instead, she would let him go outside, allowing him to experience both the positivity & negativity of the world... She would trust him to form his own understanding of the world, to develop his own perspective, and to distinguish between right & wrong on his own. True love doesn’t bind anyone it liberates..

Now, maybe you understand the difference between love and attraction... Remember, love is the purest thing in this world, it cannot be called a cheat, a trap, or any of the negative things people often label it as... People need to realize that they are not truly in love; they are just in attraction, because such negative experiences are impossible in love but entirely possible in attraction...

If you truly love someone, they will feel it eventually, bcz true love has a way of reaching the soul... it doesn’t need to be forced or proven..

Let me address one of the most common questions you might have:

1) What if we truly love someone, but the other person doesn’t understand and loves someone else?

In that case, you need to love them purely, without expecting anything in return... True love doesn’t mean snatching away their freedom, constantly flirting, or trying to force them into loving you back... Show your love through your actions.. by genuinely caring for them, valuing their happiness, and being there for them in all situations without any selfish motives...
However, this should come from the heart, not as a strategy to make them fall in love with you... If you’re doing all this just to manipulate their feelings or with the intention of winning them over, it’s not love... it’s attraction, and they’ll eventually see through it and distance themselves from you...

When your care, loyalty, and actions are genuinely selfless, the other person may begin to feel comfortable, trust you, and eventually realize what an amazing partner you could be... If their feelings develop naturally, it will be because they see and value the purity of your love...

2) What if you love someone purely, but they are already in a relationship with someone else, are happy with their partner, and don’t want anyone else?
