#New Apple Studio Display Not Working

the TB port on the legion connects to the iGPU and isn't ideal anyways. have you tried connecting to the regular USB-C port, for a dGPU connection?
yes
ok, next up are the silly questions.
- the studio display is connected to external power? no issues with the wall power outlet?
- the TB cable is connected to the correct TB port on the monitor (the bolt with a dot)?
- the laptop is in Hybrid mode, to guarantee both iGPU and dGPU are active?
- all USB-C ports on the laptop do not work with the display?
after all that it's probably just incompatibility
is the studio display firmware up to date?

Yes to all of those.... Pretty disappointed.. Whole reason I bought this laptop was because of the thunderbolt 4 port to be able to use with the ASD.
reading online that it may be the cable that's not compatible. a USB-C cable with DP1.4 Alt Mode support might work.
