Describe the issue: I got my laptop 2 days ago. I downloaded vantage and checked for updates out of which one was for the bios that is decided to do later.
45 mins ago started bios update utility from Lenovo vantage it prompted for a restart which I did and since then it's been a complete black screen, caps lock or num lock aren't responding, power button is solid blue as I had it in quiet mode before, I can't hear fan noise(I usually don't hear it). I am too afraid to power shutdown as i know about bios horror stories. No idea what to do.
Note: there is no indication bios has even started updating, no logo no progress bar just a black screen.
