I thought u guiding me to a form where I could find the solution I am looking for.
Thanks
anyone find a solution to this? i am having the same issue. detects when connected to an external monitor but without it, i get the same error
Nope. Sadly no fix at all so far
Surely this is started happening with windows 11 + nvidia + Intel drivers. So one of them is conflicting with another which one is unclear at this point
We might need a Bios update, last update received for Legion 7 pro gen 8 is November 5.
This is what happend when I am in hybrid mode.
do you have legion toolkit installed?
No
hm
do you have legion toolkit installed?
Does it have anything with Legion took kit?
I'm having issues where if legion toolkit is running, it will disconnect my dGPU and it won't come back until I do a hard ec reset
ive had this issue on a previous laptop before as well with legion toolkit
Nope, I twice clean install windows and all software update through Lenovo support. Once all the software updated to latest version once the system restarts hybrid mode bricks.
I do installed Lenovo vintage software
hm.
yours is showing a Microsoft basic display adapter, which wouldn't be showing if the DGPU is gone
would you mind going to the bios and showing what it says here?
Mine shows 4090 in the Bios.
Now am currently using DGPU mode. It works fine but hybrid mode broken
Something is bricking entire thing. Could be windows, could be nvidia software it self. Either way this all started recently with windows and latest Intel 32.xx driver
Which version of LLT are you using?
I found out that it was a dead SSD that lenovo support asked me to putback in to confirm was dead that was causing the issue
SSD and VGA driver? How is it related to this issue?
I suspect it was causing issues on the pcie bus that caused the GPU to drop out and not reconnect
Mine is just fixed randomly. I used Lenovo Legion toolkit and tried auto hybrid mode rather than hybrid. . Now system works perfectly fine both GPU.. I will skip any updates now on.
Oh, really?
So no issues with LLT
