#screen freeze

Model: hi i have a legion pro 5i 16irx10

Describe the issue: i have an issue sometimes while lunching cs2 mainly
the screen freezes or goes black but not BSOD as i can still move the mouse but not click anything and the windows button still works somehow then the laptop restart by itself

What have you tried already?: i have updated all drivers and re installed the vga driver by itself
however i have not updated widows for two months now due their bad updates

When did it start producing the issue: about a month now

Did you install new drivers or software?: yes

Can you provide images/videos to show us the issue: no

I’ve been experiencing the same issue for the past two hours. If I boot up a game, my laptop freezes after about two minutes; if not, it freezes after around ten minutes.

I had same, i suggest firstly try different drivers, if nothing works lenovo should work...if not check another topic we have here - some solutions also noted there. I had this happen under no workload, using office programs, I RMA'd in my case it's probably a hardware error source, probably they will replace motherboard.

I also realised that my restarts were occuring due to windows update, as when i checked the windows update settings and time logs , they matched the timing of random restarts

however it never happened with me like this on previous machines, randomly restarting to force installl drivers

# pallid yacht i dont think it is a hardware problem in my case as i dont have the same problem...

OK, i hope so, just remark - i had same - no crashes during gaming, benchmarks, stress tests, diagnostics showed everything OK...crashes happened randomly using office programs. I also think it's some weird driver-windows problem...but since my laptop is brand new i RMA'd...their first reply was graphic card error, we will replace board...we'll see what they will do, I'll update that first topic when i'm done.
