Model: Legion 5 Pro 16ITH6H
Describe the issue: After last windows update (to 25h2) my wifi/bluetoooth network card is not working at all.
What have you tried already?: Ive tried everything, starting from reinstalling drivers, reseting network, trying this card on linux, rollbacking to previous windows version, hard reseting (60s on power button) mine legion, reseting bios to default settings and even replacing this card entirely with a new one.
When did it start producing the issue: After updating Windows 11 from 24h2 (probably) to 25h2
Did you install new drivers or software?: I was trying to reinstall the network drivers but without positive outcome
Can you provide images/videos to show us the issue:

If you are connected to ethernet atm go to windows update > make sure "get the latest updated" with the megaphone is ticked one
then search for updates > let them install and check advanced > optional check if any wifi drivers are left there
Everything is up to date, from the common windows update check, from the "megaphone" as you mentioned and also the optional updates, and still nothing
edit your post btw with our format
because we can't see what product you have nothing
...
you already tried most thing we'd recommend

Soft EC reset:
Shutdown the laptop, unplug all cables, charger too.
Press and hold power button for 60 seconds, keep holding even if the laptops powers on, release after 60 seconds and then power o...

if a soft ec doesn't cut it try a hard ec reset also idk what card you bought as replacement?
ive bought the same card as a replacement - intel ax201 ngw
well, i can try one more time with this soft reset, since ive already tried that before
after soft ec it appeared in device manager, but still it does not work. Tried install drivers one more time (the ones downloaded manually from website, and ones from lenovo vantage) and still nothing:
i found yet another thread on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/1ffgwjh/intel_wifi_6_ax201_160mhz_error_code_10_or_43/
No you are not listening
i said disabling fast startup and then a hard ec
is there any instruction on this discord how to do it ?
i know it is about unplugging the CMOS but i would want to read some precautions about it
also today ive tried installing the newest driver for this card (on intel website there is even newer that from the lenovo one - from 10/28/2025 - specially for the 25h2) but it didnt change anything

^ follow this
yup i've found something similiar but ended up with the CLI terminal option (i didnt have disable fast startup checkbox in powerplan)
okay so this instructions is all we have here
have u seen this reddit post that i mentioned earlier?
i think that it has high probability that the screw that holds this card might create a shortage to GND
since the new (replacement) card was recognized at soft EC but it cannot start, so maybe short signal that recognized what type of card it is was performed but failed during longer period when it was trying to power it on
i will try to switch this AX201 to the originall one, since it has the same problems (and return the one i bought), and first try will be with isolation of this screw, then if it does not help i will try what you mentioned - the hard ec
thanks Melm for helping me with this 😉
well, im giving up
nothing worked,
1st try (with isolation) gave me fast booting up (there was no timeout during Legion logo loading - previously when wifi was enabled in bios there was) but network card was not working again.
2nd try (without isolation + CMOS hard EC) did nothing for me
about the 2nd try im really confused, since i thought that when i do this mine laptop during boot up will restart 3 times, will give a sound like it is doing some diagnostics etc. but it booted up like nothing was happened to him. Only thing that i saw which might be caused by doing this was loosing time in bios (it lost 30 minutes)
