๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐: I tried to install Windows 10 on the laptop; however, once the OS finished installing from my usb (official from Microsoft website), the trackpad didn't work. Also in the display settings, it scales by default to 100% which is very small (By default, it should scale to 125 or 150, so likely indicates an issue with scaling too)

#Trackpad and scaling Issue when installing Windows 10
10 messages ยท Page 1 of 1 (latest)
You are supposed to install Windows 11 on Gen 7+ devices
Yours is Gen 10
dont avoid it, just install it
and to have a working trackpad, you also need to install Intel Serial I/O driver
oh, so gen7+ do not support windows 10 at all?
drivers are for Windows 11 since Gen 7
even older models got Win11 updates for drivers
So I installed Windows 11 , and now the trackpad is working, but I cant change brightness using function key.
Also, for a few seconds, my screen went dark and it automatically changed the scale to a higher value, then after <60 secs, it went dark again and reverted back to normal scaling.
