Do you need to DDU and update?

No.
However, if you you do DDU, you need to first install Lenovo drivers and then Nvidia driver of your choice. While doing so, avoid installing GeForce Experience or Nvidia App and avoid clean installing to new driver.
Every subsequent update, you don't need to DDU.

I'm trying to update to this version and for some reason my Display has gone black and I only hear the Fan Spinning.
Been 10 Min and nothing comes on.

Everything works. GPU can't be de-activated in Hybrid mode via LLT, but the fix is to switch to Hybrid-IGPU mode and wait 5-10 seconds. The switch doesn't require a restart.

Also try the latest BIOS, do note that you might need to load BIOS defaults before or after updating and setting up undervolt again

Confirming the wake screen corruption seems to be fully fixed for me on dGPU 5070ti after a day of use 🙂

No I feel like we had this discussion the last time I mentioned it. I've also tried rebooting and waiting etc etc all the usual tricks it still stays unfortunately 🤷‍♂️ the only driver that worked for me was 3 drivers ago

after instaling 581.57 on my legion 5 rtx 2060, everything look new hahahaha, fresh.

lenovo legion 7 pro gen 10 rtx 5090 and 275hx,

it seems to improve frames stability in ninja gaiden 4 over 577.0, and "maybe" improves performance of 0.1 lows by 10% (i am not 100% sure if this is true but i'd say that it is),

this actually might be the new stable driver for gaming. for local llms seems to have the same performance, has some reduced vram usage which is always welcome. (this is js some extra info that i dropped here, pls do NOT punish me for this)

overall this is indeed better than 577

I'm having a new problem after Updating to New Driver, after I close the game in Steam, the game doesn't close properly.
I didn't have this problem previously.

it seems to stabilize a bit on the dx12 ver (which requires a bit of tweaking of game files) if any1 plays zenless zone zero and is facing issues with the latest driver, try to use the dx12 ver which requires u to put some text in the game's main exe file's name

I am an idiot, its the dx12 ver thats apparently worse and it was js a placebo effect that made me believe that its better on dx12 (i had the dx12 ver set as the game shortcut)

new driver improved fps by a staggering 60%!

^the driver also seems to have improved the gpu efficiency, with just 100 watts (previously it was 160, the game doesnt even pull anywhere near that now) the game gives the 60% more perf

overall on avg gpu wattage is down by approx 35%

(yes i cross checked the prev random benchmarks i did with the non-dx12 ver to arrive to this conclusion)

i'll provide more detailed info on cpu intensive games soon

^another note, the perf seems to really benefit unity engine based games (such in silksong my fps nearly doubled for some random reason, going from 500 to 800-90)

Not 100% sure if it's related to the new driver or not but since updating I've had two hard locks while playing Digimon Story: Time Stranger.

Entering or exiting the In Between Theater sometimes completely locks up my system, can't even bring up process manager

Update: Clean installing lenovo drivers have fixed (so far, hope no jinx) fixed the freeze and mouse stutters.

did more testing and can confirm, its due to whenever data is being loaded from ram into the vram

I think this might be my issue, as I DDU wiped it, but then didn't install the Lenovo one first
