Model: Legion 5-15IMH05H (Lenovo) - Type 81Y6
Describe the issue: Screen on laptop went dead when leaving computer for 5-10 minutes while watching a YouTube video (not sure if paused or not). This had happened in the past more than once but holding power button down brought the screen back. But the last time, no joy. Works fine with external monitor.
What have you tried already?: Holding power 60 seconds when not plugged in. Power & F2 combo suggested somewhere. Rebooted many times. Reinstalled NVIDIA drivers (twice now).
When did it start producing the issue: When watching YouTube in Firefox over a month ago.
Did you install new drivers or software?: Yes, see above, new NVIDIA. Only thing that didn't update was the NVIDIA control panel and PhysX System Software (will attach screenshot).
I am new to Discord, the reddit bot brought me... I used to be tech savvy but seem to have lost my mojo. (Ex: if you tell me to do something with my BIOS then I need explicit instructions, slightly clueless... I used to live with a software engineer who fixed things for me and I just can't remember anything it seems!)
