It now constantly boots onto this screen on the external screen
Did you try switching to hybrid/dgpu mode in bios?
Try downloading windows 10/11 installation media and installing it into USB. Boot into the USB and select recovery options from the installation menu
I've managed to get past the restart loop and got this error
That just mean Xrite cannot find your internal panel
I suggest get your laptop to a shop since it seems like internal panel might have died
Else
Try to switch to Hybrid mode like suggested above
You likely have bad panel
Did you use display overdrive?
Not sure i just left it charging in sleep mode and came back to the screen not working
Do you have any update to share? I have exactly the same problem ? Happened after i installed the new nvidia driver
Same problem but with 15ACH6H, do give an update 🙏
Since i cant access recovery mode or secure boot im now reinstalling Windows with USB drive. After that im going to try to install an older nvidia driver. Maybe upgrade my bios if there is a never option. And disable fast boot.
Did you troubleshoot the issue or find a resolution?
I wasn't able to find a resolution
I'm not really sure what caused it tbh the last thing I can think of trying is flashing the bios
Had a similar issue, though mine was worse in that it even when connecting to an external screen I would get no image even in hybrid mode. Pc would just light up the keyboard, no post whatsoever, though it would randomly go on if I performed enough restarts and work well(to am extent) until I had to reboot then it would be back to days of black screen. My repair guy had it for a week, turns out it was faulty ram, even though I was getting a ram error, my sticks seemed to have shorted out. Had them replaced, and it works fine now. Hope this helps folks out there.
RAM turned out not to be the issue in my case. Still a mystery!
Finally fixed it after all this time, turns out my screen just died so after replacing the screen it works fine
@pine sapphire I have same problem, how did you get the right and original panel to you're laptop or you change it in lenovo service ?
