my brother’s Legion 5i 15IMH05H GPU fan started making grinding noises.
we used compressed air to clean it, but still remained. we then took it to micro center for a repair. they charged us 100+ usd for the repair as they said the GPU fan isn’t functioning properly, and sent us back the laptop still having the same issue
it started producing issue in september 2024.
no drivers have been installed.
specs: intel core i7-10750H, GTX 1660ti 6GB, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD + 1TB HDD, 144hz IPS display.
