Model: Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 9 AMD
Describe the issue: When I checked the sound properties in the Advanced tab of the headphone settings, the maximum output available is 16-bit/48kHz. There is no other options. Why is that? is the sound card capped at 16bit? is there a solution to fix this?
What have you tried already?:

#Why is 24-bit audio output not showing on my Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 9 AMD?

16-bit 48khz is the max default format when you use the stock audio drivers, yes.
if you replace the drivers with generic microsoft drivers, you can go up to 24-bit 48khz, but will have to workaround other problems (no nahimic, no driver mic effects like noise cancelling, 3.5mm loud pop when it powers on after silence). all of these problems are workaroundable with enough effort.
