I'm having massive frame drop on all games I play. When I spin up the laptop cold things start working for ~5 minutes before I get the frame drops. This makes me think it's a cooling issue with the laptop but I checked and there's nothing clogging the fans. I also wasn't having any issue before July 17th running games for 5+ hours at a time. I stopped gaming all together after July17th until August 16th and booted up games to find this issue. Short of reformatting or servicing my laptop what can I do?

Things I've tried:
Vantage hardware scan, 100% healtlhy
BIOS update
Dedicated GPU only gaming
Integrated GPU only gaming
Balance and Performance mode with different screen refresh rates
Turning off Whisper mode on NVidia GPU settings
Disabling FPS limiter in-game
Nvidia driver legacy install to 552
Latest Nvidia driver install (662)

Specs:
Model: 82WQ
CPU: i9-13900HX
GPU: 4090
RAM: 32GB DDR5

All tests were done with full battery plugged in. Any thoughts/advise would be appreciated.

Hey I'm having the exact same issue, the only difference is I am running a CPU: i9-14000HX and GPU: 4070, everything else is pretty much the same (excluding the model of course)

Are you playing on battery?

I figured out that it might be due to the CPU thermal throttling at 107C. Any suggestions how to fix?

In the log you showed, you were hovering in the 80s

Are you sure you are not obstructing the vents or exhaust? Did you take off heatsink recently or had laptop repaired?

Well your Liquid Metal application seems ok, the machine is just hot.

Try “Disable fullscreen optimizations” in .exe execution game file.

Already checked vents + board, it's all fine.

Well temps are basically always physically related. If you’ve never cleaned the fans and vents, you should
