Model:** IMH105H 81Y6 **
Describe the issue: Black screen. Cannot access UEFI/BIOS. CAPS button not lighting up
What have you tried already?: Unplugging, turn on and off by holding pwr button. Switched to hybrid mode. Connecting external monitor via HDMI and/or USB-C to dock
When did it start producing the issue: The next morning after letting it sleep the night before. No new activities. Its been running flawless until now.
Did you install new drivers or software?: I don't think so.
Can you provide images/videos to show us the issue: 3 images attached.

So It booted up only once, and I opened Vantage to check for updates, and I noticed it said the main SSD was 99% full, The VRAM was maxed out. And shortly after it just crashed on me. I don't recall what the other readings were unfortunately.

Sometimes I would see the logo screen, logo screen with the spinning wheel, and got the BSOD twice (0xc0000098 & 0xc0000225).

I got into UEFI once, and when I clicked the drop down arrow under "Boot Device", it completely froze and I've been unable to access it since. (See images)

But now after switching to hybrid mode, all I get is black screen.

All I can do right now is toggle the keyboard lights. Pressing CAPS doesn't illuminate.
Fans are working. Pwr lights up when plugged in.

Stock SSD 500GB
Second SSD 1TB

upgraded ram to 64gb(2x32) earlier this year.

I didn't back up anything cause I'm an idiot 😭

pls help

Well, you clearly did post and managed to get into UEFI. Try creating bootable media, boot into it and check recovery options

Vantage displays the SSD as space available, not space used

#

And it showed your vram clock at max, not your vram full

#

You remove and reinsert the ram. You also try individual sticks in each slot

rough fox
#

regardless, how can I test and rule out the SSD?

#

I haven’t used vantage in years. That’s how it used to be anyway. Most people have migrated to #legion-toolkit in this server

ill try moving the ram sticks around..

#

i quickly deleted some files to free up some space

#

still deleting a few more then going to work on other preventative measures, especially creating a backup

#

So sounds like a bad ram stick or a bad ram slot

Maybe

#

You said you booted with one in. You’ll need to test and see

I mean you never, but you’re going to have to at some point to figure out what the issue is
