just water? nah don't need to talk to a tech.
if you have a hair dryer you could blow on the keyboard for a few minutes
and then just let it dry overnight
i'd just leave it alone
if no hair dryer, maybe a space heater? or the sun (cover the screen)
or literally just let it sit overnight
Should I place it like a tent with the screen supporting it. Or should I keep it completely upside down?
Would keeping it like a tent cause the water to drip downwards towards the battery?
Should I try to turn it on now? Its been over 2 days.
2 days is more than long enough, i only said overnight
I wanted to be thorough 😭
is your laptop on yet?
Should I plug it in on the wall or plug the battery connectors in?
Should be same either way right?
Everything looks normal. They keys work fine too.
check all ports, sd card, camera switch, etc
Hope it doesn't break months from now.
The ports run fine.
I get a weird error saying all cameras are reserved. But that's probably a windows bug.
I can't use camera anywhere. The default camera app says the camera is being used elsewhere. The 'camera test' websites say camera is blocked. What could it be? If camera was fried wouldn't it say something like there is no camera installed?
Could also be because of some debloater app.
makes sense to me, sounds like a separate issue from the water
a bit annoying to debug, easiest method is probably booting a linux USB and checking the camera there
The speaker doesn't seem to be working either
Headphones work however.
I'll try it once I'm free.
I have a virtual box with Ubuntu running. But I guess that wouldn't work.
nope it has to be native, not a VM
welp
