Hey! I'm experiencing a few problems with my new laptop, could someone help please?

A few weeks ago my laptop started to randomly shut down (Kernel Power Event ID 41). Not while gaming, usually when it was asleep or i was just browsing (the temperature was normal/low). It always restart itself 2-4 times per day, so its pretty annoying. I looked for solution online, i saw that many people had similar problems, so i tried to change a few things in the settings but didn't really help.

In addition to this my laptop started to boot every time with a fTPM Bitlocker error message (I don't really know what's that, I don't think i use it). I even had to create a new password for the Microsoft account to log in. I don't know why these are happening, but im pretty annoyed at this point. Could someone help me please?

Here are some specs, let me know if I missed something.

Computer Type: Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH7H Laptop

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GP

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 6800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHz

BIOS Version: LENOVO JUCN63WW, 2023. 09. 18.

RAM: 16GB

Operating System & Version: Windows 11 Home 10.0.22631 build 22631

Thanks for the help!

Bitlocker encryption isn't even available if you're on windows 11 home......

Maybe

#

Kernel 41 could be a million different things

For your kernel power BSOD, I would recommend using blue screen view to analyze the crash dump and see what driver caused it

The TPM message disappeared, but this morning my laptop struggled booted. it restarted like 10 times before it actually turned on :/

downgrade the bios. i have legion 5 gen 7. after updating the bios to JUCN63WW, my laptop started random shutdown with error kernel 41. downgrade the bios to JUCN59WW and reinstall windows solved the problem @twilit ice
