Legion Pro 5 16IRX8 (Intel i7-13700HX RTX 4070 32GB ram)

Battery Drains when laptop is in shutdown state (I.e. off). Can be more than 2 to 3% overnight (i.e. 8-10hours). Note, this is not in a standby state, device is properly shutdown when not in use. EDIT: No charging cable plugged in.

Tried disabling all power features like USB active, Windows fast starts etc, wake on features, anything and everything related to power that could be active on shutdown.

Issue has been prevalent since purchase

Bare bones system with all available bios and laptop specific drivers installed. Problem has occured since day one of the laptop.

Have tried various "solutions online" without any success. The issue may not sound that dramatic, but I live in a country where power is a problem and I cannot afford to lose 10% battery power over the course of a day or two. I use the laptop as an emergency device and need to be confident that its fully charged or nearly so when I need it. There have been instances where I needed it only to find its down to 70% battery after being shutdown for a few days.

In comparison, various other mobile devices I use (power banks, samsung phones, iphones, ipads, wireless headphones etc) , retain virtually all their battery power over the same period when properly shutdown. I.e. unlike with this laptop, there is no ghost draining of power when the devices are shutdown.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or hopefully a solution.

Windows is such joke in this regard

# pure void Sorry for late reply, can you try completely disabling hibernation? Ram may be k...

Thanks for the suggestion but I've already disabled hibernation. Made no difference to the issue. I have a feeling this is not a problem anyone is going to resolve. Its really frustrating to my use case. The laptop ticks off everything I needed spec/performance wise and I have no regret from that perspective but this ghost draining of battery is not something I am used to mobile devices doing. I cannot leave it permanently connected to power - its not practical - so now I have to make sure I schedule a task to make sure the laptop is charged... Real dissapointment to be honest.
