I bought a legion 5 a few weeks ago. Here is a link to my exact model.

On the specs it says it has 4 SSD m. 2 slots but on the actual motherboard I only see 2. 1 is the main boot SSD and the 2nd is the additional slot. The specs says it has 2 gen 4x4 and a gen 4x2.
Now my issue is that I only see 2 SSD slots, the main and the secondary. I don't see any other ones. I also purchased an extra SSD (WD SN850X 2 TB) and once I installed it I tested the speeds and I'm only getting about 3500MBs for read/write speeds when I should be getting at least 6500. Anyone know how to fix this? I added a screenshot of the motherboard and that too only shows 2 slots for an ssd. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The image you included is of an Intel system, while the link you gave is of an AMD system

it may just be a copy and paste job from lenovo because that is the picture from the hardware maintenance manual

and the psref states 3 M.2 slots, not 4

I don’t see any other slots. The image shown is exactly how my mobo is now. Same locations of everything. I don’t see any other m.2 slots

The mobo pic that I sent, it was from the online manual but I’m not sure if it’s for my exact model. I only found the manual from their website through a Q and A section

But they look very identical, so I’m hoping mine has a few differences from that one

Didn’t have time to check, but if there is a slot under the gpu, am I able to just take out the ssd and put it in that new slot? Or do I have to go to disk management and allocate/format it for the Pc to detect it?
