Samsung memory can get up to +2000 on memory oc
Compared to micron that can tolerate max +800/1000 on very very very good bin
I've never tested it above 1800 before.
I might have to test it later today and see how far I can push the memory oc.
I said that in case Ayrton comes back from the grave and then puts his laptop into a freezer to beat my score
@craggy wasp
Anyway, have you seen someone be able to OC it over 1800 before?
Yeah a 3070 ti to +2000 on Samsung vram
Oh wait even a 3070
I tried out +215 core and +2000 Memory and it seemed to have pulled through. Got almost an extra 50 points out of that.
hi wassup
oh wow what a score!
@lusty moss Thinking that ill get another motherboard replacement. my USB-A port on the back died π
honestly fuck lenovo service
e-waste
@night fable https://www.3dmark.com/spy/35763060
This was my best score on my old Samsung VRAM motherbord
Not bad, you crossed the 10k mark
My GPU bin might be weaker since I needed a heavier OC to get near 10400 on graphics than Ayrton did, and he got like 10450-10460 I think
you have an insane bin
But it's okay, I'm #1 right now so I can go hibernate
i gave up, my micron bin is too pwney and i dont bother benchmarking on this pile of hot batshit
I didn't do the thing this time where you change your OC mid-benchmark. I just kept it flat with max fans on. It's really cold over here so I took advantage of my room being like a fridge lol
Its best to change ur OC values mid-benchmark
test 1 usually has more OC capability
test 2 has lower, cpu test prefers to have no OC(gave me the highest score)
Oh, didn't know that actually.
Don't some people do like a SMU tweak thing as well? I tried looking into it but found basically nothing π
SMU is dangerous to filddle around with
Minimal gains, maximum heat, maximum explosion
Yeah, figured it wasn't really worth doing since there's barely any info about it.
Too experimental for my liking
made my CPU go 120c with it

Holy shit how much wattage did your CPU get?

110W
on a 30C ambient
How much did you gain out of that?
200 points on Cinebench R23
but some people like @unreal granite got like 1k increase
because he has MUCH better ambient temps(much cooler, π³π± moment)
i mean if you want i can DM you the settings, but dont blame me if ur laptop explodes
Nah, I'm good
, thank you for the offer though
Oh nevermind 110C
that was my old heatsink mount
The highest I've gotten to traditionally push my 5600H was like 82 celsius, I've never seen it go higher after 2 years of using mine

I also still use the old LenovoFanControl program that isn't supported anymore
I honestly don't like the newer one

Smu with power limit unlocked is a private tool made by smokey and only few people have it
That explains it, thanks for the added info
The SMU Tweak is purely for benchmarks I imagine? Or has anyone with the tweak been able to game with unlocked limits too?
Asking out of curiosity
only for benchmarks, itβs useless in games imo
oh look i got a new high score using it today
With 110c max cpu temp?
