#No Memory Configuration in BIOS?

I have a Legion T5 tower. I believe the motherboard is the D550, And I just installed 64 GBs of 3200MHz RAM

But it’s running at 2400MHZ

So I do the logical thing, go into the BIOS and to configure my RAM speed…. But this legion BIOS does not have any memory configurations….

The Bios Version is O4MKT2A

Does anyone know how I can configure my memory?

Thanks! If I’m missing any crucial info just ask in comments and I’ll add to the post.

Likely. It’s probably rated at 3200mhz with xmp

#

It’s probably what cl16?

#

Cl14 maybe

#

Let me see

Ya. Those are xmp timings. Ram is probably 1.35v too?

P T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 64GB Kit (2x32GB) 3200MHz (PC4-25600) CL16 Desktop Memory Module Ram

#

So legion can’t enable camp

#

XMP*

#

Well it’s not going to run at 3200mhz. Gotta find jedec ram. Gonna be probably cl22 3200mhz

That’s booty

#

So it’s probably not even that my computer can’t do it, it’s that they don’t let me

#

Well yes they don’t let you because the bios is limited.

#

It’s sadly a reason why most people will never recommend buying a prebuilt.

Nope. Return and buy different ram

Is this correct?

Yes

# wild mauve Yes

Will the current memory I have be compatible with it? Or is it bad to mix CLs just like you don’t want to mix MHZ?

#

Because I wouldn’t mind having 128 gb

If you mix it will run at the lowest denominator speed
