#I can't install OS from a flash drive

Without OS

There is no option to boot from USB, even though it is enabled in the bios.

I did this:
Reset BIOS settings to default: Go to BIOS > Press F9, and select "Yes" > Press F10 to save the settings and exit the BIOS menu. After this, set the following parameters in the BIOS menu:

"Boot" tab - "USB Boot" – Enabled
"Configuration" tab - "SATA Controller Mode" – AHCI

Do I need to make any other settings or is this a manufacturer error?

Yes, I rewrote the bootable USB drive and did this:

Set the USB drive format to FAT32.

  1. Connect the USB drive to your computer and open “My Computer”.
  2. Right-click on the desired USB drive and select the “format” context menu item.
  3. In the "file system" item, select "FAT32". If the FAT32 file system is already specified by default, then all that remains to be done is to click the “start” button and answer “OK” to the warning that all data on the disk will be destroyed.
  4. After this, wait until the system reports that formatting is complete.
  5. After formatting is completed, the USB drive is ready to burn an OS Windows image.

well if that doesnt work then there isn't much you can do i guess
