I tried entering in bios to change some settings as a youtube tutorial told me to do so

Sounds like you just don't have an OS installed.

Sounds like a non-issue to me. Sounds like your machine just have 0 os installed, so it does not boot into anything.

You need to install an OS on the laptop.
