You didn’t mention you did an EC reset already, but do it again. Follow the guide in #1020285176531669012 and do it for the full 60 seconds.
Okay I fixed it @random fable
So this can be closed? What did you do?
Wait no
I meant
I fixed the format
for the problem
by mentioning I did the EC reset
Your roles are wrong. They don’t make sense
What laptop do you have?
Read the model number off the bottom
It's the legion 5 slim
Legion 7
AMD Radeon
AMD RYZEN 5000 SERIES 7
Idk how to check that
You have now said you have to completely different laptops
Read. The. Model. Number. Off. The. Bottom. Of. The. Laptop.
PF9XB2404048
Legion slim 7. Gen 6. Amd ryzen 7. Nvidia 30 series. Pick those roles please.
Also please now delete. You shouldn’t show people your serial number.
Good. Now. Do the EC reset for the full 60 seconds.
You mentioned Icue before. Your laptop came with Icue installed?
You sure you don’t have keyboard backlight options in vantage?
what
is that
There would be keyboard options
Ok.
Click the carrot next to default
Or hit Fn+space bar to cycle through the keyboard backlight presets
See if the wrong colored keys goes away
Did you do this
And they were red on all presets?
Only other thing I can recommend outside of contacting Lenovo for warranty support is trying to use OpenRGB instead of Icue. It can be found in #community-made and you can ask questions about it in their discord.
Where's the link for OpenRGB
Click what I linked already
Sure
Why is your power button not lit up
I'm just going to say this
?
Usually this problem doesn't go away
and usually only gen 6 legions have this problem
even if it goes away. it goes back mysteriously
I couldn't find the source of the problem or what causes it to be problematic
best case scenario is to RMA
EC reset
windows reset
change OS
nothing changed, still the same problem
How do I do that
Okay
How do I do a windows reset btw?
